Fall Lesson 21 – Peer Feedback and Project Proposals

Quizlet
After leaving feedback on our classmates' EWr Journal, we spent time doing language-focused learning studying vocabulary on Quizlet.

We took a quiz on the NAWL words.

Essay Peer Feedback
Use the Revision Checklist on p. 97 to help your classmates revise their essays. You will give feedback on 3 classmates' essays. You should also check the Purdue OWL site (see Lesson 02) and the sample paper to give feedback.

Follow these steps:
  1. Read your partner's essay.
  2. Use the comment function by highlighting the text you want to comment on.
  3. Click on the + button on the right of the doc.
  4. Write your comments and click save.

Project Work
You have the remainder of the class to work with your partners on your projects.

As you continue to develop your ideas for your project, answer these questions:
  • How will our project demonstrate that we have learned?
  • What role will each member take to show an individual contribution to the product?
  • How will our product be made public?
  • How will we build our knowledge, understanding and skills to complete our project?
    • What resources can and should we use?
    • Can we trust the information we are finding?
    • What are our roles in the project?
Write a report together addressing these questions. Share it with each other and then share it with me. The file name should be AE18 + all of your last names in alphabetical order + Project 2 L21
Due 12/16 23:59.

Some things to keep in mind:
  • Everyone needs to contribute equally.
  • If you are absent or late, it is your responsibility to contact your partners.
